Landmark Final: Susquehanna Chase Third Title In Four Years Against Hosts Scranton

Some rivalries need no introduction. Susquehanna against Scranton in the Landmark final, for the fourth year running, is one of them.

The two sides meet on Saturday at noon ET (10 p.m. PKT) at Weiss Field in Scranton, with the Landmark title and an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III tournament on the line. These are the conference’s two premier programmes, and they’ve owned this fixture for four seasons now.

Susquehanna won the first two of those finals, lifting the title in 2023 and 2024. Scranton hit back last year, beating the River Hawks to take the 2025 crown, and now they host the rematch as defending champions. The home crowd will be loud, and Scranton will want to make it two in a row on their own turf.

Susquehanna’s route here was the hard one. They came in as the sixth seed and had to win on the road, beating third-seeded Wilkes 1-0 on 31 October to keep their season alive. They’ve now won two hard-fought postseason games to reach a fourth straight final, and a side that has already survived as underdogs twice is not going to be overawed by a trip to Scranton.

The final is at noon ET, and the winner goes straight into the NCAA Division III tournament, which starts on Wednesday, 11 November. Four years, same two teams, same trophy. Somebody has to break the pattern eventually. Saturday tells us who.
