EHL Finals 2027 Schedule Confirmed: Oranje-Rood Open Against Arminen as 32-Match Easter Festival Takes Shape
The biggest week in European club hockey now has a shape. The full match schedule for the ABN AMRO EHL Finals 2027 is confirmed, and it’s a six-day, 32-match festival at HC Oranje-Rood in Eindhoven, from March 24 to 29, 2027.
This is the expanded FINAL12 format: 16 men’s matches and 16 women’s matches across six days, with the semi-finals on March 27-28 and both Grand Finals on Monday, March 29. The men’s final is at 1:45pm and the women’s at 4:00pm.
Opening day, Wednesday March 24, is stacked. Surbiton open against Clydesdale Western in the women’s competition at 9:30am, then Royal Orée face Surbiton in the men’s at 11:30am. Dragons take on Mannheimer HC in the women’s at 1:30pm, Braxgata meet Amsterdam in the men’s at 3:30pm, Campo play Lisnagarvey in the men’s at 5:30pm, and the day closes with the hosts, Oranje-Rood, against Arminen in the men’s at 7:30pm.
Holders SCHC, the women’s champions, enter on Thursday March 25 against newcomers Lille MHC. That’s the kind of tie the new format was built for: the defending champions against a side playing in the finals for the first time.
For our money, the schedule is the story here as much as the hockey. Thirty-two matches in six days, on one ground, over Easter weekend, is the EHL going all in on the festival format. The draw and the host announcement were already out, but this is the first time anyone can actually plan the week. If you’re thinking about Eindhoven in March, the dates are now real.
The men’s defending champions are Kampong, and the women’s are SCHC. Both will have to come through a field that now includes 12 teams on each side. The road to the Grand Finals starts on March 24.
