EYHL Weekend: Three Rock Host Lisnagarvey, Pembroke Face Monkstown, Banbridge Welcome Cork
Saturday is a full day in the EY Hockey League, and the game everyone will look at first is at Grange Road. Three Rock Rovers host Lisnagarvey at 3:00pm, a meeting of two of the division’s heavyweights and the kind of game that shapes the top of the table. Lisnagarvey are the team everyone measures themselves against in Ireland, and Three Rock at home are nobody’s easy afternoon.
The rest of Saturday’s men’s card is just as busy. Pembroke Wanderers host Monkstown at 2:30pm, Banbridge welcome Cork Harlequins to Havelock Park at 2:45pm, and Corinthians host YMCA at Whitechurch Park at 1:15pm. Four games, four grounds, and a table that will look different by Saturday evening.
The weekend actually starts on Friday night. Railway Union host Pembroke Wanderers in the women’s EYHL Division 1 at 8:00pm, and Lisnagarvey host Armagh in the women’s Legacy Wealth Management Premier League at 8:15pm at Comber Road. Friday night hockey under lights, then a full Saturday card. That is a weekend worth clearing time for.
