Welcome to SportsCursor (sportscursor.com). By using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site.
What SportsCursor is
SportsCursor is an independent field hockey news website. We publish match reports, results, fixtures, previews, rankings explainers and tournament coverage from leagues and events around the world. SportsCursor is not the official website of FIH, any continental or national federation, or any league or tournament, unless a page clearly says otherwise.
Using the site
You may read, share and link to our articles for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to: copy or republish our articles in full without written permission; scrape the site in a way that disrupts its operation; post comments that are abusive, defamatory, spam or unlawful; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems. Links to SportsCursor articles are welcome, and short excerpts with clear credit and a link back to the original article are fine.
Our content
We work hard to make scores, fixtures and facts accurate, checking them against official federation, league and tournament sources. Even so, mistakes can happen in live sport — kick-off times change, results get corrected by organisers, and squad lists are updated. When we find an error in our own reporting, we correct it openly on the page. You can read more in our Disclaimer. Articles express the writer’s view of the game. Previews and predictions are opinion, not guarantees, and nothing on this site is betting or financial advice.
Intellectual property
The SportsCursor name, logo and original article text belong to SportsCursor. Photographs are used with the permission of their owners (including FIH and the Asian Hockey Federation), from the site owner’s own collection, or credited to their source. If you believe any material on this site infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and, where justified, remove it promptly.
Comments and user content
If comments are enabled on a page, you are responsible for what you post. We may remove comments that break the rules above or that are unlawful, without notice.
External links
Our articles link to official sources, federations, broadcasters and other websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of external sites.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep the site online and fast, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent allowed by law, SportsCursor is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information published here or from temporary unavailability of the site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version published on this page, with the date above, is the current one. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
