Where to Watch the Sultan of Johor Cup 2026: TV Channel and Live Stream Guide

  • In Malaysia: Sukan RTM (now Sukan+) on TV, and live streaming on RTMKlik.
  • Outside Malaysia (including Pakistan): No official international live stream has been announced yet. We’re re-checking official sources on 16 October and again on the morning of 17 October, and this guide gets updated the moment a stream is confirmed.

Five under-21 teams, one trophy, and the question every fan is typing into Google this week: where can I actually watch it? The Sultan of Johor Cup 2026 runs from 17 to 24 October in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, with Pakistan, hosts Malaysia, Canada, China and Japan in the field. Here’s what’s confirmed so far, and just as importantly, what isn’t.

In Malaysia? You’re sorted

RTM holds the rights, exclusively. That’s according to Berita RTM (8 October 2026) and Flash Sukan (9 October 2026), so it’s about as official as it gets. The matches go out on RTM’s sports channel, Sukan RTM, which rebranded as Sukan+ on 1 April 2026 and broadcasts on MYTV Channel 111 in HD.

One gap worth knowing: RTM hasn’t published a match-by-match TV schedule yet. Check the channel’s listings closer to each game day if you’re after one specific fixture.

The stream: RTMKlik, but only inside Malaysia

If you’re in Malaysia, you’re fine for a stream too. RTMKlik (rtmklik.rtm.gov.my) is free, its homepage is already promoting the Johor Cup, and the live coverage runs through its live Sukan+ channel page. Phone, tablet, laptop, all covered.

The catch is a big one. RTMKlik’s live channels work in Malaysia only. Open it from Pakistan and it simply won’t play.

Watching from Pakistan: the honest bit

As of 15 October 2026, there’s no official international live stream for this tournament. None. There’s no listing on Watch.Hockey, nothing announced on the Malaysian Hockey Confederation’s YouTube or Facebook channels, and no word from the FIH about worldwide coverage.

You’ll see one name from last year floating around, so let’s be clear about it: in 2025, the Johor Cup streamed internationally on the Ashley Morrison Media YouTube channel, and inside Malaysia it aired on Sukan RTM and TV Okey. That’s last year’s arrangement, not confirmed for 2026. The same goes for TV Okey this year, and for TV6 and Astro Arena, whatever fan pages are saying. We won’t list any of them as options until an official source does.

So what should Pakistan fans watch for? An announcement from the MHC or FIH, a Watch.Hockey listing, or a stream confirmed on an official channel. We’re re-checking all of them on 16 October and again on the morning of Saturday 17 October, hours before Pakistan open against China, and this article updates immediately if a stream is confirmed.
